Safari comes with a setting to completely deny ANY website to ask for permissions to send notification alerts

A browser feature I’ve been waiting for! Introduced already since Safari 12 for macOS High Sierra and Mojave.

How to disable websites asking for notification permissions

  1. Go to Safari » Preferences
  2. Click the «Websites»-tab
  3. Select «Notifications» from the list
  4. DEACTIVATE the checkbox
«Allow websites to ask for permission to send notifications»

Done – now enjoy one distracting popup-message less while browsing the web… 🧘
