Disable either @icloud or @me email address for sending new mail in iOS

You can disable one or another of the iCloud email addresses – such as @icloud.com or @me.com – when writing a new email in Mail app in iOS 14.

The Setting to select only one of your preferred iCloud email addresses is pretty well hidden. Here‘s where you can find it.

Disable secondary iCloud email sender address

1. Open the iOS Settings app
2. Touch and Open on your iCloud account
3. Now touch on the «iCloud» setting

4. Scroll to the very bottom and touch on «Mail»

5. Now under «Allow sending from» disable the iCloud address you do no langer want to use as an email sender in Mail app

5. Confirm the change by touching «Done» – that’s it!
