macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 update breaks DisplayLink driver 4.1 – displays will go blank
Attention: the recent macOS High Sierra update to version 10.13.4 will break the DisplaLink driver version 4.1 and cause any connected displays to go blank after the OS upgrade!
Solution approach: fixing APFS disk issue “fsroot tree invalid” in macOS High Sierra Public Beta 4 (17A315i)
Completely erasing & reformatting a broken APFS volume under macOS High Sierra Beta 4 fixed the “fsroot tree error” – make sure you have an up to date backup before upgrading High Sierra Beta updates.

iPhone not booting up anymore – Dock connector may be broken
If you end up in a situation where your iPhone just won’t boot up anymore (not even showing the empty battery icon nor the Apple logo) – or it is simply not recognized in iTunes anymore – it might be, that some of the pins in the Dock connector are be broken. Go to your local Apple Store and have the whole phone replaced with one of the same model.
